Program Overview

Melbourne, Australia is one of the most beautiful university campuses in Australia with stunning parkland and waterway including a major wildlife sanctuary. Melbourne was recently ranked as the world's most livable city and the second best student city.  Choose from hundreds of courses in many different disciplines at La Trobe University, one Australia's leading universities. As a study abroad student at La Trobe, you start your experience by joining the pre-orientation trip to meet other study abroad and exchange students while seeing some of the amazing sites and learning about Aussie life. Academics

Find courses by using La Trobe University's subject search database. Students learn through classes and practical field activities. Students have the opportunity to take field trip subjects for immersion into Australia's landscape and culture. There are also opportunities to volunteer and complete an internship.

Housing

Get the on campus experience by living in Chisholm Residence Hall with other study abroad students and Australian students. Students live in singe bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens. Travel Documents

A passport valid for 6 month beyond the end of the program is required. Additionally, an Australian visa is required for participation on the program. Talk to your study abroad advisor for assistance with the visa application.
